What is Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)?
Have you been diagnosed with or suspect low testosterone?
What is Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)?
TRT is a commonly used treatment for low testosterone in men with diagnosed hypogonadism (low-T) due to certain medical conditions.
What is hypogonadism?
Testosterone deficiency is a clinical syndrome resulting from insufficient secretion of testosterone due to primary or secondary hypogonadism.
How is hypogonadism diagnosed?
Only a fraction of men with low testosterone are tested, but for those that are, your doctor will diagnose hypogonadism through laboratory testing and assessment of symptoms. Hypogonadism is present when blood tests drawn on at least two separate occasions in the morning, show total testosterone levels less than 300 ng/dL.
